Colbert In The No-Spin Zone January 19, 2007

You all probably saw Bill “Papa Bear” O’Reilly on the Colbert Report last night, where he (Bill, I mean) was his usual condescendingly prickish self. Loved how Colbert snuck in that thing about Jon Stewart being a sexual predator, and the bit about leaving the 30% off tag on O’Reilly’s book.
But you probably didn’t watch Colbert on Bill O’Reilly’s show because, honestly, why would you? I wouldn’t sit through a second of The No-Spin Zone, even to watch our lord and master Colbert, who has the command of all of the many tubes of the internets at his beck and call.
Well, luckily, you don’t have to because one of those tubes has the cure for what ails ya: go to www.foxnews.com and click on the Fox News Video box in the upper-right. There, you’ll find a link to the glorious four minute long segment of Colbert in the belly of the beast. I won’t spoil any of the jokes, but for me the best part is O’Reilly’s staff is laughing at Colbert’s routine and, by extension, Papa Bear himself.
Poor Bill O’Reilly. I almost feel sorry for him, except I then remember that he’s a pathetic right-wing ideologue who has a penchant for sexually harassing his female underlings, and then I don’t.
